Trust The Adventure

I've been working a lot throughout this sale, shipping orders, printing prints and making necklaces.
It's been sooo good.
I couldn't thank you enough.
Seriously, I'm so blessed to have such amazing readers and friends..

This last week has been an adventure and a wonderful time for learning.
I've learned who I can trust and who I can't.
That's always a good thing, even when you loose trust in someone.
It's still a lesson learned.

I've learned that strangers and friends online,
people I've never met can be more trustworthy than long time friends.
I've also relearned the meaning of friendship.

Learning who to trust is a life long lesson.

I got off the phone last night with my agent..
(That's still a shocking sentence to say...)
He called to talk about some new paintings and new business opportunities.

He told me his main goal was to have me making my art full time.
I told him that was mine too.
It felt good.
I'm even learning to trust him.
Trust is a scary thing.

I got off the phone and snuggled over to Sterling and told him about the call and showed him my notes.
We are excited about the things coming up next.. Even though we don't know them quite yet.
Of course the future is scary and we really aren't sure how things will work out.
We aren't sure how to connect the dots.
But, we know that when the dots are connected
 the picture will be beautiful.
That's the fun in it.
That's the adventure.
Waiting to see.

In order to create abundance, one must be grateful.
I am committed to living in gratitude for everything in my life and world.. after all, I am the creator of it.

I am grateful for those out there that who support me and allow me to contribute my art and love out into this world. You are making my dream of being a full time artist a reality and I'm so thankful for that.

I am grateful for the amazing support I receive from Sterling. He is constantly coming up with ideas for me, and is willing to do the business/number aspect of my work. I'm beyond grateful for that.

I'm grateful for the lessons I've learned in the last week, and the stability I've felt despite the situation placed on me.

I'm grateful for the balance and the abundance I see daily.

And I'm so grateful for the trust that I have in The Adventure.

A Big Thank You!

I am overwhelmed once again with the love I feel from you guys.
I am seriously so blessed for the friends I have met through this blog
and the support I continually get from you all.

Thank you for those who supported my sale that I have going on in the shop.
The sale will be going on all through next week.
I completely understand if you can't help, it's about the love and support I feel from you.
So thank you.
If you'd like to help, you can even just share my shop on facebook or twitter.

I've been busy this weekend with the orders from the sale.
Busy getting orders ready, and busy writing little thank you cards full of whimsical doodles.

Being Authentic

This life is about treating yourself
and others with authenticity.
It is about learning how to be the person you truly are.
It is about creating your self and your life from the inside out.

This life is about following your passions.
What are you passionate about? Honestly? Do you even know?
What is it that ignites your heart? What inspires you?

To be authentic, you have to be living in line with things you are passionate about. Living passionately is living with a purpose... If you don't know what you are passionate about,
 why are you even here?

You don't know your purpose? Find it.
Sit down, and figure out your passions.
Free your heart, start writing. Think onto paper.
Why are you here? What makes YOU feel alive?

How aware are you of yourself??
How do you act when no one is around?
What masks do you wear?
Do you feel you have any value?

The first step to being authentic, creating beauty and changing your life, is to figure yourself out.
Be curious about yourself. What do you believe in? What kind of person are you? What kind of person were you? What decisions and experiences have you been through that shaped your life? If you don't know who you are, get out and go experience the world. Let your mistakes shape you. Get a past, then learn from it.
Stop living someone else's life,
stop mirroring someone else's identity.

Get your own.

It's impossible to live an authentic life, if you do not know who you are.

But of course there are no plateaus in life.
Knowing yourself isn't enough.
You have to experience who you are.
Take risks, try new things, create, destroy, connect, feel, act, love.

As you feel connected with yourself you will feel inspired to act in new ways.
It's the new things that will continue to define you, change you, make you.
Remember, there are no plateaus in this life.
There is no end, only the journey.

Things either keep growing, or they decline.
That's okay.

Sometimes it's totally okay to give up people
 and things in your life.
If something isn't working for you, it's working against you.
People are the same way.

Stop worrying about pleasing others,
and stop worrying about what other's think.

You can't live an authentic life if you are trying to mould yourself to the opinions of others.
You can't be your true self if you are trying to be someone else.

If you are continually trying to live your life for or around other's, you are not being authentic.

Be true and real.

The people that truly love and care about you
will support you no matter what.
And if they don't?
Leave them, or let them leave you.

Be free from other's.
Be yourself.
